The canal originates from the Sandhya River flowing from the side of Swarupkathi market. This Floating market starts from Kuriana canal and extends to Atghar. However, there are some other floating markets in this union such as Bhadranka, Zindakathi, Adabari, Adamkathi, Brahmankathi, Dhalhar etc. The best time to visit this floating market is from June to September.
