কক্সবাজার শহর থেকে মাত্র আট কিলোমিটার উত্তরে অবস্থিত এই চৌফলদন্ডী সড়কটি। কক্সবাজার থেকে এখানে আসতে পারবেন সিএনজিম বাস বা রিক্সাযোগে সময় লাগবে পনের থেকে বিশ মিনিট। এই শড়কটি কক্সবাজার শহড় থেকে শুরু হয়ে ঈদগাঁও পর্যন্ত বিস্তৃত যার মোট দৈর্ঘ্য আঠার কিলোমিটার।
সড়কের দু পাশে রয়েছে লবন চাষের মাঠ আবার বর্ষার সময় এই লবন চাষের মাঠকে তৈরি করা হয় চিংড়ি চাষের ঘের হিসেবে। এই চৌফলদন্ডী সড়কের দুই পাশে রয়েছে এরকম অনেক চিংড়ি এবং কাকড়া চাষের ঘের। চৌফলদন্ডী সড়কের এগার কিলোমিটার উত্তরে এগিয়ে দেখা মিলবে চৌফলদন্ডী সেতু, এই সেতুর উপর দাড়িয়ে দেখতে পাবেন বাঁকখালী নদীর অপর পাশের মহেশখলী আদিনাথ এর মৈনাক পাহাড়। এই স্থানটির অপরুপ সৌন্দ্যর্য সত্যিই মনোমুগ্ধকর। চৌফলদন্ডী সেতুর প্রান্তে প্রতিদিন পাওয়া যায় বাঁকখালী নদীর মোহনা থেকে আহরিত না না প্রজাতির সামুদ্রিক মাছ। দামে কিছুটা সস্তা হওয়ায় কক্সবাজার সহ দুর দুরান্ত থেকে অনেকেই ছুটে আসেন এখানে তরতাজা মাছের সন্ধানে। তো বন্ধুরা চলুন আমরাও উপোভোগ করি এই বাঁকখালী নদী তীরের চৌফলদন্ডী সড়কের অপার সৌন্দর্য্য।
This Bakkhali River is a River in Bandarban and Cox's Bazar districts in the eastern hilly region of Bangladesh. The length of the River is 69 kilometer and the average width is 95 meter. The River is flowing crookedly. The Bakkhali River originates in a Mountain waterfall in Mizoram, India and flows into the Naikhongchari Upazila of Bangladesh.
The River crosses Naikhongchari and flows through Ramu Upazila of Cox's Bazar and falls into Moheshkhali channel. The tomb of Captain Hiram Cox, after whom this Cox's Bazar is named, was also lost in the River. At present, modern tourism potential has developed in Cox's Bazar with this Bakkhali River trip. To travel on the Bakkhali River in Cox's Bazar, you actually need to come to Cox's Bazar Fishery Ghat or 6 No Jetty Ghat. You can rent a boat from both the places to travel on this Bakkhali River. এই বাঁকখালী নদী বাংলাদেশের পূর্ব পাহাড়ি অঞ্চলের বান্দরবান ও কক্সবাজার জেলার একটি নদী। নদীর দৈর্ঘ্য ৬৯ কিলোমিটার প্রস্থ গড়ে ৯৫ মিটার।
নদীটি বয়ে চলেছে এঁকে বেঁকে। এই বাঁকখালী নদীটি ভারতের মিজোরামের পাহাড়ি ঝরনা ধারায় উৎপত্তি লাভ করে বাংলাদেশের নাইক্ষ্যংছড়ি উপজেলায় প্রবাহিত হয়। নদীটি নাইক্ষ্যংছড়ি অতিক্রম করে কক্সবাজারের রামু উপজেলার ভিতর দিয়ে প্রবাহিত হয়ে মহেশখালী চ্যানেলে পতিত হয়েছে। যার নাম অনুসারে এই কক্সবাজার, ক্যাপ্টেন হিরাম কক্স তার সমাধিটিও নদীর ভাঙ্গনে নদী গর্ভে বিলীন হয়ে যায়। বর্তমানে কক্সবাজারে এই বাঁকখালী নদী ভ্রমণ নিয়ে গড়ে উঠেছে আধুনিক পর্যটন সম্ভাবনা। কক্সবাজারে বাঁকখালী নদীতে ভ্রমণ করতে আসলে আপনাকে আসতে হবে কক্সবাজারের ফিশারি ঘাট অথবা ৬নং জেটিঘাট উভয় স্থান থেকেই নৌকা ভাড়া করতে পারবেন এই বাঁকখালী নদী ভ্রমণের জন্য। তবে ফিশারি ঘাট আসলেই অপেক্ষাকৃত সহজে নৌকা ভাড়া করা যায়। কক্সবাজার শহর থেকে খুব সহজেই রিক্সা বা ব্যাটারি চালিত অটোরিক্সা করে চলে আসতে পারেন ৬নং জেটিঘাট বা ফিশারি ঘাট। এই ফিশারি ঘাটটি কক্সবাজার বিমান বন্দর গেটের সামনেই অবস্থিত। ৬নং জেটিঘাট টি ও এর খুব কাছেই পেয়ে যাবেন। ফিশারীঘাট অথবা ৬নং জেটিঘাট থেকে নৌকা করে বাঁকখালী পাড় হয়ে খুরুশকুল যেতে ভাড়া পড়বে জনপ্রতি ১০ টাকা, এছাড়া ঘন্টা হিসেবে নৌকা ভাড়া করে ঘুরে দেখতে পারেন। সেক্ষেত্রে নৌকাচালক এর সাথে ভাড়া নির্ধারণ করে নৌকায় ওঠাই ভালো হবে। বাঁকখালী ভ্রমণে আপনি দেখতে পারবেন বঙ্গোপসাগরগামী মাছ ধরার ছোট বড় অনেক ট্রলার। রয়েছে কিছু সাম্পান এবং চাঁদ নৌকা। এই সাম্পানগুলী কক্সবাজারের ঐতিহ্যবাহী একটি নৌকা। বাঁকখালী নদী মহেশখালী চ্যানেল ও কক্সবাজারের মোহনায় আসলে আপনি দেখতে পাবেন কক্সবাজারের প্যারাবন এটি দেখতে খুবই মনমুগ্ধকর এছাড়া নদীর অন্য পাশে গড়ে উঠেছে খুরুশকুল বিশেষ আশ্রয়ণ প্রকল্প। এই স্থানটিও দিন দিন পর্যটনের জন্য জনপ্রিয়তা লাভ করছে।

Madhabpur Lake is an artificial lake located at Patrakhla Tea Garden, Madhabpur Union, Kamalganj Upazila, Moulvibazar District, Sylhet. The first thing that will fascinate you on the way to this lake is the road that runs through this potted tea garden, the view of the tea gardens on both sides of the road will enchant your mind. If you go ahead along this beautiful road flowing from the inside of the tea garden, you will see this beautiful Madhabpur Lake. Madhabpur Tea Garden Authority Madhabpur Lake was built in 1965 by storing water by embanking three hills in the middle of the garden. Tea is grown in these rain-fed areas of the highlands as tea requires a lot of water throughout the year. But as this hilly area is sloping, water does not stay there for long so the garden authorities made this lake in need of water. The lake is about 50 acres in size and 3 km in length; Width space typically 50 to 300 meters. You can climb the hill next to the lake to see this lake beautifully, stairs have been made to cut the soil to climb the hill and a small resting place has been made to sit on the hill. The lake can be seen beautifully from this hill. This spectacular Madhabpur Lake flows through small hills and hills. There are tea gardens in the hills and hills around the lake. Both the tea garden and the lake have created a breathtaking view that attracts a large number of domestic and foreign tourists throughout the year. The hills to the south are on the Indian border; from here you can see the high and low hills of the Indian region.
